It appears that at some point she was captured and taken to an esper prision where they were planning to perform experiments on her, but she was saved by Hyoubu and Andy Hinomiya. Following this, Yugiri seems to have gone to many different places before being recruited by Hyoubu and becoming part of P.A.N.D.R.A. However, being an esper with great power, she feared the same could happen again and disappeared from the orphanage, where she met Sophie Grace, Princess of Monarch. Later she went to an orphanage in Monarch, a European Country. organization (it is not explained if that means Yugiri as a life form, or her esper powers), specifically as a first generation prototype designed by Black Phantom, but after some problems during a test her powers went out of control and the people overseeing the development were seriously injured. Yugiri is an esper that was artificially created in a laboratory by enemies of the P.A.N.D.R.A. She is usually seen holding hands with him.
